At Hartland Residential Care Center, we believe your suite should be more than just a room—it should feel like your home.  Our private suites offer comfort, privacy, safety, and plenty of opportunity to personalize your space.

Spacious Private Suites

Our suites range from approximately 144 square feet to 500 square feet, offering some of the largest private suite options in the area.

Each resident has a private closet for clothing and personal belongings, along with plenty of opportunity to make the suite their own.

Private Restrooms & Shower Accommodations

Each suite includes a private restroom equipped with an ADA-compliant toilet and handwashing lavatory. Touchless soap and paper towel dispensers are also provided.

Our centrally located handicap-accessible main shower is designed with resident safety and comfort in mind, featuring multiple grab bars and a large built-in shower chair, heated, bright lighting and zero entrance.

In addition:

Two suites feature private showers.

Four suites have access to adjoining showers.

Our remaining suites have convenient access to the centrally located main shower.

Safety Features

Resident safety is an important part of our suite design.  Each suite and private restroom includes a night light and call button.  In addition, every resident is provided with two wireless call buttons (one is for each restroom) for added convenience and peace of mind.

Each suite is equipped with a centrally monitored smoke detector in accordance with applicable Missouri state requirements.  Two suites are also equipped with a visual emergency alarm notification light to accommodate a resident with hearing impairment. (One is low frequency.  One is high frequency) 

Our facility features wood-based flooring construction rather than a concrete base, providing a more forgiving surface than concrete in the event of a fall.

Special Note: Plastic trash cans, extension cords, auxiliary heat or A/C is not permitted per Missouri State Regulations. Mini Fridge and Power/Lift Chairs shall be plugged directly in a proper receptacle. Power strips are permitted

Furnish It Your Way

Hartland can furnish your suite with the essentials, including a:

· Bed

· Nightstand

· Lamps

· Dresser with mirror

· Wingback chair​

Residents are also welcome to bring their own furnishings and create a space that reflects their individual tastes and personality.

Have a favorite recliner, bed, lamp, family photographs, artwork, or something especially meaningful to you?  Bring it with you.  We encourage residents to surround themselves with the familiar things that make them comfortable.
 

If you do not bring a reading lamp, Hartland can provide a floor or nightstand lamp.

Our home is your home.

Wi-Fi & Entertainment

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in every suite at no additional charge.

Residents can connect their televisions, cell phones, computers, laptops, tablets, and other compatible devices.

Residents are welcome to bring their favorite television from home. 

Hartland currently provides access to Hulu, offering a variety of entertainment options, including classic westerns, gospel and faith-based programming, Hallmark entertainment, sports, game shows, news, local Kansas City stations, and much more.

Personal Belongings & Resident Funds

Each resident has a private closet within their suite for clothing and personal belongings.

Each suite also includes a secure combination-lock device where residents may choose to keep their personal money.
 

Hartland administration and staff do not hold or manage residents' personal funds.

Telephone Service

Residents may bring and use their own cell phone.

A personal landline may also be installed in a resident's suite if desired.  Any installation, service, or related charges for a private telephone line are the responsibility of the resident and are not included with the suite.

Outdoor Smoking Area

Smoking is permitted only in the designated outdoor smoking area, where residents can also enjoy Hartland's peaceful country surroundings.  NO SMOKING or open flame i.e. candle is permitted in residents suite.
